MORGANTOWN CENTRAL OFFICE
This property was purchased by Human Resource Development and Employment, Inc. (HRDE) in 1978. The property contains approximately four acres and fronts a major highway leading to Morgantown. It includes a three-story office building and four chalets. HRDE rents the chalets to private tenants. The office building is used to house approximately 30 staff. Due to over-crowded conditions, an 864 square foot annex was built in 1989. In 1995, an additional 2,799 square foot annex was built.
On July 25, 2001, HRDE purchased a .433 acre parcel with a residential dwelling adjacent to the Mileground property.
TRAINING FACILITIES AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTS
HRDE operates training facilities in Clarksburg, Parkersburg, and Hinton. HRDE's Clarksburg, Parkersburg, and Hinton Stanley Technical Institutes are accredited through the North Central Association, Commission on Schools and HRDE is approved through the U.S. Department of Education for Title IV Financial Aid eligibility, which allows students to receive financial aid through Federal PELL Grants and Stafford Loans.
