Lincoln Unity Apartments, a 49-unit Section 202 apartment complex for the elderly, opened in November, 1993. The site contains a multi-purpose room with kitchen facilities for recreational and social events, an activity room on the second and third floors, and a coin-operated laundromat. An active Tenants Association sponsors hot dog sales, bingo, and dinners. Emergency alarms are installed on all fire doors and security cameras are located throughout the property. The site was completed at a total cost of 2.1 million dollars.
