Region 2 WIOA Out-of-School Youth Program

Supportive Services Offered
​

· Certificate Attainment
Youth receive $100.00 for receiving their High School                             Equivalency Diploma or for one related credential.

· Transportation Payments
Youth receive a $30.00 Transportation Payment to assist with                   the beginning stages of Summer Employment, Occupational                     Exploration, and/or Employment (this excludes participants who               receive free bus passes or duplication of transportation from                     another provider).

· Monthly Participation Incentive Payments
Youth receive a $150.00 incentive payment for participating                     in program activities for a minimum of 60 hours participation a                 month.  This participation incentive will include transportation                   costs for the youth.  Incentives are limited to 9 months of the                   program year, for each participant.

· Common Measures Literacy Numeracy Gain Bonus
Program Youth who are basic skills deficient and increase one or             more educational functioning levels, during the program year                   participation, receive a $25.00 bonus for each increased                         functioning level obtained, and $50 for exceeding Basic Skills.

· Testing Fees
The program covers the costs associated with TABE, Work Keys,             High School Equivalency, SAT and/or ACT testing.
