On August 22, 2001, permission to occupy was granted for this 20-unit Section 202 apartment complex for the elderly adjacent to South Parkersburg Unity Plaza and Gihon Unity Apartments. Unity Court Apartments has 19 one-bedroom apartments and one two-bedroom apartment for the Resident Manager. The total cost of this project was 2.0 million dollars.
The housing project has access to a van that is used to transport residents to the grocery store on a weekly basis. A Neighborhood Networks Center is available to residents providing access to computers and other activities.
This year, security cameras and automatic doors were installed.
